Sarah Daniel
Sarah Daniel joined Spartanburg Regional Foundation in February 2026 as Grants Project Manager. In this role, she partners with internal teams and community organizations to advance strategic grantmaking and partnerships to advance health.
Before joining the Foundation, Sarah served as Senior Director of Partnerships and Investments at United Way of the Piedmont, leading regional community investment efforts and cross-sector collaborations to strengthen economic stability, housing, education and access to care.
Sarah brings extensive experience in philanthropic strategy, program evaluation and systems-level problem solving. She is passionate about translating community needs into actionable investments, strengthening organizational infrastructure and building sustainable partnerships that drive measurable outcomes.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina Asheville and a Master of Public Administration from Clemson University. Sarah is excited to bring her background in public administration, community development and nonprofit leadership to support the Foundation’s mission of improving health and well-being across the region.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, tending to her garden, baking and relaxing with her husband and their dog.
