Hospice Holiday Meals
25-year tradition returns this Thanksgiving
The holidays are a time for families to spend time together and build memories. But for a family with a loved one in hospice, the holidays can be stressful. A quarter of a century ago, Spartanburg Regional Hospice and Spartanburg Regional Foundation came up with an idea – to provide hospice families with a meal at both Thanksgiving and Easter. The meals come with heating instructions and feed up to 12 people.
You can support this special program by making a $55 donation. The meals will be prepared by Spartanburg-based Cribbs Catering. Volunteers will make deliveries to the homes of hospice families on Saturday, November 20.
Donations to hospice provide other support for hospice patients and families, as well, including medications, hospital beds, payment of utility bills, and more.
